Postage and Materials Fund
If anyone would like to donate to our postage and materials fund you can do so by Paypal to [email protected] or by cheque or postal order made out to L. Jaap; then sent to our Head Office address, detailed in our Contact Us section.
Easyfundraising
We also raise funds for postage through Easyfundraising. If you are interested in helping in this way, simply register with Easyfundraising and choose Loving Hands as the charity group you wish to support. Then every time you shop online through the Easyfundraising page a percentage of what you spend comes to us at no extra cost to you. Many companies donate a percentage of the items bought (including all the usual suspects; Amazon, Ebay, John Lewis, Homebase, Premier Inn etc, etc, - there are thousands on there). It really works and has given us lots of extra income to make getting everything to where it is needed so much easier.
Also if you are a fundraiser for another Group who needs a similar boost - if when you register with Easyfundraising for your own group you say you were referred by Loving Hands we get a referal fee and a small percentage every time your groups shops through them too. This has been a huge help to us, in being able to fund sending out parcels and aid.
We are always happy to accept donations of tools, materials and help towards the cost of postage and packing.
If you join us we do our best to supply you with some of the materials you will need to create items for our charities. Our policy is that our members give their time and talent to help us, so we do not want to empty their pockets as well.
Obviously, with so many members, it is not always possible to do this and most of the members do use their own supplies to keep them going. If we do send out a box of materials, members will usually contribute towards the cost of postage to get the box delivered.
